Daniel is a Partner at LARK. He practises law for over 15 years in the areas M&A/Private Equity and Venture Capital with a proven track record, often in a cross-border context.

In these areas he advises international and domestic private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, strategic investors as well as entrepreneurs (both on buy- and sell side). In Venture Capital Daniel often advises institutional VC funds as well as start-ups and scale ups, also in secondary transactions.

After starting his career at Kirkland & Ellis in Munich and New York, Daniel gradually expanded his practice which led him to co-found the M&A and Venture Capital boutique law firm Momentum Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater.

Daniel completed his legal studies at the University of Regensburg (Dr. jur.) and graduated as a scholarship holder of the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) from the University of Oxford (St. Edmund Hall, M.jur.) with distinction.

While being a generalist, Daniel’s practice often focusses on technology transactions in the sectors software, high tech and travel.

If Daniel would not have pursued a legal career he would probably search for old Greek inscriptions in ancient ruins. In his leisure time he loves to spend time with his two kids, enjoys several sports (running, tennis) and loves to listen and occasionally dance to electronic music.
